As a Solar Sales Representative, you will play a key role in expanding our customer base through direct outreach, including door-to-door sales, and leveraging CRM software to manage leads and client relationships. Note! This is a full-commission position with no base salary.
Responsibilities- Conduct outside sales activities, including door-to-door outreach and community engagement to generate new leads.
- Present solar energy solutions to prospective clients, clearly explaining product benefits and technical features.
- Utilize CRM to track leads, follow-ups, and sales progress efficiently.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales by addressing customer questions and concerns effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and offering tailored solar solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and contribute to overall company growth.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of solar industry trends, product offerings, and competitive landscape.
Requirements- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in energy or technical sales environments.
- Strong background in marketing, negotiation, and customer service.
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse communities effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining team collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers confidently.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with a proactive approach to sales challenges.
- Knowledge of solar energy products, energy sales processes, or related technical fields is a plus.
- Valid HIS license.
- Valid driver’s license for travel within assigned territories is required.
